Let us look at the details.
According to Divayina - the Sinhala Daily, this incident took place on 25th of May. 2012.
The group of monks were led by Viharadhipathi Rev Kanumuldeniye Dharmasoka in the company of
Rev.Akmeemana Dharmaratana, former member of parliament from Hela Urumaya. This is the first time
Rev Akmeemana Dharmaratana's name is mentioned in public.
What is special about this Rev.Dharmaratana?
This very person was instrumental in the attack on Dambulla mosque, and goes around organizing
protests against not only Muslims but also Christian places of worship as per intelligence reports. This
priest is over 5' 6", Dark Brown complexion, well built like a wrestler. This man does not take the leading
role. But he can be seen in the second place just behind the leading person, to ensure the progress of the
action. He comes with a set of his own imported followers to make the scene lively.
In the Dambulla attack the spot light light was on Rev.Inamaluwe Thero. Muslims and non-Muslims from
every station cursed this priest because he was the one who was visible and loud. But the real culprit was
lost to everyone except the intelligence.
I am not sure if this political priest was instrumental in Anuradhapura, but I will be surprised if he was not
there.
In Dehiwala the slogans read "FUNDAMENTALISTS". Why this word FUNDAMENTALIST? Was there
any Muslims brother with a different dogma instrumental in this protest?
This is a question we have to look into. If the answer is none, all of us can be happy.
OUR DIFFERENCES SHOULD NOT SPILL OVER TO BRING DISGRACE AND DESTRUCTION TO
THE MUSLIMS AND ISLAM.

Remember the Anuradhapura mosque demolition, the Fajr Adhan fiasco, Beruwala murder?
Now, where is the LOUD MOUTHED 3rd level Muslim politician who demanded in Public to demolish all
unauthorized Buddhist statues?
ALL MUSLIMS SHOULD USE WISDOM AT THESE CRITICAL SITUATIONS.

Yes, this looks like there is a Master Plan behind all the attacks.

As per Br Eng Ismaeel Marikkars suggestion, our politicians have to take the BATON

now and handle the matter, before it is too late and the matter gets out of hand.

This is one aspect and on the other hand our Scholars and Professionals too have to handle
this Urgent matter very delicately without any prejudice and leaving aside any political
affliations/sympathies.

Buddhist monks took to the streets yesterday again demanding the demolition of yet another
Muslim community building in Colombo, claiming it was illegal, Ceylon
Today reports. Meanwhile Divaina newspaper claims that the building is a illegal cattlekilling place belong to Islam fundamentalists.
Over 250 protestors led by Buddhist monks staged a demonstration yesterday in front of Galvihara Road,
Dehiwala, calling for the demolition of the Madarasa Darul- Quran lil Baranil Iman. The
protestors charged it is an illegal construction and a place where goats are scarified.
One of the monks leading the protest claimed the Madarasa should be demolished as the Muslims had
constructed it illegally; a claim many Muslims in the area are disputing.
In response to this a member of the trustee board, Hizni Mohamed said the Madarasa named has been
situated here for over 13 years. It is a place mainly to teach and educate the children on religion
and the Quran, he said.
He said the monks claim that the Muslims were rearing goats and sacrificing them within the
premises of the Madarasa, but nothing of that sort happened. It is not an illegal construction. We
have accurate deeds and the building has been there for so many years, he said.
According to the Western Province UNP PC member Mujibur Rahman, this Madarasa has been
frequented by the Muslims for 13 years and this problem of demolishing has begun all of a sudden.
Nothing illegal or unlawful is happening, he confirmed.
When Ceylon Today contacted the Mayor of Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia, Municipal Council Dhanasiri
Amaratunge said that a group of monks had complained to him regarding an illegal construction.
I sent a team to inspect the area and we have found that the Madarasa is an illegal construction
and we have summoned them to court on Monday. Even before the legal aspect could be done the
villagers and the monks have begun a protest, he said.
