List of the Undergraduate Programmes

This course aims to train students in the specialized area of embedded control which is fast emerging as an important tool in civil and defence applications. The course aims to provide the students the necessary background in hardware and software design, control, applications in power and related areas.

Very large scale integration enables stand-alone Embedded Systems to intelligently control and operate in specific applications. Embedded control is concerned with the real time applications of embedded systems and related technologies. This course will provide a cutting edge knowhow to enable graduates work in advanced civil and defence industries.

Eligibility Criteria A Pass in B.E. / B.Tech. (EEE / ECE / E&I / I&C/ Electronics/ Instrumentation)

Advanced Engineering Mathematics for Electrical Engineers Analysis of Power Converters Dynamic Modelling, Analysis and Design of DC Drives Design of Embedded System Special Electrical Machines Computer Aided Design of Power Electronic Circuits Dynamic Modelling, Analysis and Design of AC Drives Linear and Non-Linear Systems Theory Control of Electric Drives Electric Drives Laboratory

Project Work Project Work enables the students to understand the real time application of embedded control in various fields. The project work consists of two phases. Phase I, which involves simulation of the circuits, is completed during the third semester. In Phase II, implementation of the simulation using hardware circuits is done during the fourth semester.
