Today the Reds selected from Class AAA Louisville the contract of IF/OF Willie Harris (#9); placed on the 15-day
disabled list, retroactive to 6/6, CF Drew Stubbs (strained left oblique); transfered to the 60-day DL RHP Nick
Masset (sprained right shoulder, on DL since 4/4); and sent to Louisville on a rehabilitation assignment 3B Scott
Rolen (strained left shoulder, on DL since 5/12)...Harris made 30 apps for the Bats and played 2B (11g), 3B (13g),
SS (4g) and OF (3g)...he was the only non-roster player to make the Reds' Opening Day roster and made 19 apps
and 6 starts before he was outrighted to Louisville on 5/7, when IF Miguel Cairo came off the disabled list.
TONIGHT'S GAME: Is Game 1 of a 3-game series vs Shannon Forde's Mets and Game 1 of a 6-game road trip
that includes an upcoming visit to Cle's Progressive Field...is the Reds' second visit to Citi Field this season...split a
2-game series here in May as part of a 5-day stay in New York that included a 2-1 series win at Yankee Stadium...
the Redlegs are coming off a 5-4 homestand vs the Pirates (1-2), Tigers (1-2) and Indians (3-0)..following this road
trip return to Great American Ball Park for their final homestand of the season's first half (3g vs Min, 3g vs Mil).
DOT, DOT, DOT....: Dusty Baker today is celebrating his 63rd birthday...the Reds' bullpen leads the National League
in ERA (2.69) and opponents' BA (.209) while ranking second in relief strikeouts (207, Col 220)...at 35-27 the Reds are
a season-high 8g over .500 for the second time (30-22)...their biggest lead of the season was 3.5g on 6/2...haven't led
the division by more than 3.5g since they won the 2010 National League Central by 5.0g over the Cardinals...5 times
in the last 7g Reds batters produced at least 10 hits (78-251, .311)...the Reds' 17 hits and 12 runs in yesterday's
12-5 win vs Cle were season highs...CF Drew Stubbs hasn't played since he suffered his oblique injury on 6/5 vs Pit.
REHABBING: LHP Bill Bray, on the disabled list since 4/24 with a strained left groin, made a pair of rehab apps for
Class A Dayton (1-0, 0.00, 2ip, 0r, 1bb, 4k) and another yesterday in Class AAA Louisville's 8-6 loss to Rochester
(1ip, 3k, 12 pitches)...he is scheduled to pitch for the Bats again tonight...3B Scott Rolen, on the 15-day DL since 5/12
with a strained left shoulder, tonight begins what is expected to be a 2-game rehab stint at Louisville.
START ME UP: Through 62g the Reds have used only 5 starting pitchers (Bronson Arroyo, Homer Bailey, Johnny
Cueto, Mat Latos, Mike Leake)...is the Reds' longest such streak to open a season since 1992, when in the 80th
game of that schedule (7/6 at Cubs) Keith Brown became the staff's sixth starting pitcher behind Jose Rijo, Tom
Browing, Tim Belcher, Greg Swindell and Chris Hammond...Mia is the only other team this season to use only 5
starting pitchers (Anibal Sanchez, Mark Buehrle, Carlos Zambrano, Josh Johnson, Ricky Nolasco).

homer streak in the Major Leagues and the longest home run streak in GABP history (41g, 8/9/07-5/5/08, courtesy
Elias Sports Bureau)...there have been 60 homerless contests in the ballpark's 764 games...only twice in the park's
10-year existence has there been a streak of 2 straight games without a home run by either team (8/6-8/7, 2005 vs
Fla & 4/5-4/6, 2011 vs Hou)...there never has been a 3-game homerless stretch at GABP...earlier this season, there
were 29 home runs hit during the homestand from 5/21-5/27 (Reds 17, Braves 6, Rockies 6), a new GABP record for
HR during a homestand of 7 games or fewer and including a single-game record 9 homers in the finale (Col 5, Cin 4).
