Schools, by design, generate batches of similarly trained, similarly behaving people. It is an industrial age model composed of scale, volume, predictability, repeatability, societal economic investment and a desirable holistic societal return. These similarly formed batches of budding citizens ideally contribute to a society composed of order, structure, process, procedure, strength and predictability. Schools do what they are supposed to do, create a foundation upon which growth is possible for individuals up through societies.

The purpose of this proposal is to challenge the need for purposefully crafted multi-disciplinarian entrepreneurial education that begins in primary school, is continued up through secondary school and amplified in university prior to today's youth becoming tomorrow's leaders in technology creation, adoption and evolution.

Start-up companies do not happen accidentally, they are purposefully crafted. Successful entrepreneurs do not happen accidentally, they are molded, crafted and grown. Technology start-ups and technology innovation that alters quality of life for people and strengthens nations? What do you think?

To count the number of start-up companies in a society is not equal to counting the number of innovative, market defining and changing contributors to societal development. Not all start-ups are created equal. One reason for this is the purpose of the start-up may be as a 'life business' versus a 'growth business'. Another plausible reason is that many start-up entrepreneurs are ill-equipped to turn their ideas into money-making solutions useful to themselves and society at large.

Schools are not often additionally designed to generate entrepreneurs, let alone technology company entrepreneurs, or those who are perhaps considered to fall outside the normative bell curve of predictable, repeatable. To incubate a technology company entrepreneur does not happen accidentally and must be purposefully architected into the educational spectrum of goals and activities.
