JULY CABARET SOCK HOP DANCE Join us in the Regency Room on Saturday, July 21 at 7:30 pm. AUGUST CABARET SHOW AND DANCE Our Saturday, August 18 Show and Dance will start at 7:30pm with dance music provided by DJ Gary Morton. A fantastic DJ whos been here before, you know he is not only a DJ but a vocalist as well. Our show portion is a very funny and talented Borscht Belt Comedian Ronnie Reckseit, who is keeping the Catskills humor alive. After the show continue to dance the night away to DJ Garys fabulous entertaining and playing those fabulous tunes you love to hear. CONCORDIA ART FESTIVAL ATTENTION: ART ENTHUSIAST Time is running out, please make note of the following dates regarding the exhibition. 1. Tuesday, August 28 artists check in your art work between 9am-11am. 2. Wednesday, August 29 Art Show from 9am-9pm 3. Thursday, August 30 artists check out between 9am-11:30am. SEPTEMBER SMALL AUDITORIUM SHOW NIGHT Jon Peterson, Song And Dance Man will be starring in a one man show on Saturday, September 8 @ 8:30pm. Song & Dance Man is a joyous celebration of six different famous artists that Jon portrays with great energy and ferocious talent that will send goose bumps up your spine. He is motivated to dazzle his audiences. Jon is an award winning actor, singer and dancer. He devours the stage with high energy. After the show join us in the Party Room for black and white cookies, brownies, coffee and tea. Bring in checks for your entire table. The group consists of ten professional musicians and singers from the 1950's and 1960's. Featuring special guests such as Elvis and The Big Bopper. Reminisce will bring you back to a time when pony tails and D.A. hairdos were in style, when you could dance close to songs like In The Still of the Night or Jitter Bug to Why Do Fools Fall In Love. ART FESTIVAL EXHIBITION VISITORS Everyone in Concordia plays a part in the Art Festival. All that visit the exhibition will receive one raffle ticket, and have a chance to win a piece of stained glass and/or painting. Please put your phone number on the raffle ticket.

OCTOBER HOLIDAY BAZAAR For the 1st time, we are having a Holiday Bazaar for the sale of only new items that may be purchased for Holiday gifts. Join us in the Regency Room on Saturday, October 20 from 12-4pm. Concordia resident vendors will have the first chance to purchase their tables. Next month Concordia guests will have their chance and in September professional vendors will purchase tables should any be left at this point. So dont miss out on this opportunity to sell only new treasures for gifts. So get in the shopping spirit just in time for holiday gift giving. Vendors set up time is 9:30-11:30, shopping time from 12-4pm. No eating allowed. Resident vendor sign up only, however customers can be our guests cleared through security. Shop and tour QVC and have a delicious lunch on Thursday, August 16. Departing the clubhouse at 8:30 am. Upon arrival you will have time to shop. A guided tour will start at 11:00 and 11:15 am. Divided into two groups and will last approximately one hour. The QVC Studio Tour is a one-of-a kind guided walking tour through the fantastic world of multimedia retailing. At this state of the art broadcasting facility guests will see and experience how QVC products are sourced, tested, brought to life on air, and delivered to millions of QVC customers. GETTING STARTED WITH DIGITAL CAMERA Enjoy a 2 week Getting Started with Digital Camera class with volunteer instructor, Fred Cantor which will begin on Friday, August 3 in the Clubhouse. Learn the basics of how to use your digital camera. Beginners only. Free lottery is open to 3-6 participants. A $5.00 refundable registration fee is required. The deadline for applying at the Concierge desk is July 22. The other class is August 17. Time of the class is 10-12noon. SIGN UP WITH CONCIERGE.

DOOLANS SHORE CLUB SAN GENNARO FESTIVAL (SPRING LAKE, NEW JERSEY) The San Gennaro Festival comes to Spring Lake on Friday, September 28. Doolans present the singing and comedic team of Andre & Cirell as well as Bill Trimarco and The Gondalier Show & Dance Band, plus a Sinatra singer. TICKET PROCEDURE CHANGES

When purchasing tickets you MUST present your Concordia identification card at the time you present your check. When signing up for a full table one I.D. card is needed and the address and phone number on all checks will be verified. Before entry to all shows, present your Concordia I.D. card along with your tickets. NO CASH, include phone number and addresses on checks. Penciled in names for cabaret style shows for one day only. Ticket numbers for sales will not be given out before 8:30AM. Only Clubhouse numbers will be honored. Clubhouse policy: you may always sign up other couples, however each couple must submit their own check.
