2. WA2017-16 Accessory Duslling Unit (ADU) Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment The proposed Zoning
Ordinance Text Amendment will consolidate and streamline regulations applicable to ADU’s by amending various
‘zoning definitions related to terminology found in the Calexico Municipal Code (CMC) related to second units and
‘Chapter 17.03. State law changes affecting Accessory Dweling Unit went into effect January 1, 2017 and more recent
changes will go into effect on January 1, 2018. The proposed ordinance in necessary in order to designate where ADU's
willbe permitted throughout Calexico and to establish development standards that conform to recent changes in state
haw.
3. Z ws . ‘The Tentative Subdivision Map proposes the
Subdivision of 37.9 actes of land in order to create six (6) parcels. The parcels range is size from 2.2 actes to 7.1 acres. The
projet site is located on Robinson Avenue between Sunset Blvd. on the west and the future exiension of Portico Blvd. on
