Jhpiego at IAS 2012

Jhpiego, a non-profit affiliated with The Johns Hopkins University, works in 54 countries world wide to prevent the needless deaths of women and their families. For nearly 40 years, Jhpiego has shared the belief that women should not have to die giving birth, and empowers health workers to make that a reality. At the International AIDS Society Conference in Washington DC in July 2012, Jhpiego global staff presented numerous posters representing a broad spectrum of Jhpiego's work in the HIV/AIDS field. Jhpiego also hosted a satellite event on cervical cancer and HIV.
