CREW: SEC: Regarding Communication and Activities of SEC Employees from 4/1/13 through 12/5/13 - 12/9/2013

On December 9, 2013, CREW filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the U.S. Security and Exchange Commission for documents pertaining to the correspondence and activities of SEC employees from April 1, 2013 through December 5, 2013. More specifically, CREW requested three things: 1. Records reflecting communications between any SEC employee and any individual outside of the SEC relating to the rulemaking petition to require public companies to disclose to shareholders the use of corporate resources for political activities. 2. Records that reflect any meetings between any employee of the SEC and any individual outside of the SEC relating to rulemaking petition to require public companies to disclose to shareholders the use of corporate resources for political activities. 3. All calendars, agendas, or other recordations of Chairwoman Mary Jo White.
