The Pillars Of Wudhu (Ablution)


The pillars of Wudhu are four; and these are its obligatory actions.

The first of these is to wash the face. Its limit in length, is from the start of the top of the forehead to the bottom of the chin. And breadth wise, its limit is the area between the two ear lobes.


The second is to wash with the arms including the elbows once.

The third is to wash the feet including the ankles.

The fourth pillar is to wipe a quarter of the head.
