Teacher-student relationship should begin on the first day of school and should be maintained at all time. Myint (2005) teachers need to reduce negative emotions and encouraging positive emotions among students

1) Remember students names

2) Instill a sense of love towards class

3) Share responsibility together

4) Set realistic expectations

5) Show concern

Teachers who remember the students name and say their name correctly will quickly build relationship with students

Instill responsibility of students to make class as a fun place to learn

Teacher should be more creative to instill patriotism in the classroom among students. Share ideas with other teachers

Provide opportunities for students to take responsibility for the well being of the class and encourage students to cooperate with the rules set

Identify the student capabilities before setting expectations. This can be done by having a diagnostic test or pre-test to detect who has not mastered the skills

Avoid bias. Give equal attention to all pupils. Learn personalities and backgrounds of students to help teacher understand students.

In addition to verbal communication, teachers can use media such as letters, journals or e-mail for students to communicate or interact with the teacher.

Caring intellectual simply means the situation where in an intellectual session is been incorporated into a caring environment.

If teachers show genuinely their care about students as individuals apart from their academic work, it would help them to gain their cooperation. Teachers would become sensitive to their needs and anxiety and have good communication skills as well as making the classroom atmosphere feel more relax and pleasant.

This attention would create a classroom environment in which students feel safe and secure, and they feel they are being treated fairly.

SHARE THE RESPONSIBILITY WITH THE CHILDREN


Sharing responsibility with students for making classroom decisions increases the students commitment to the decisions.

Encourage the students to judge their own behavior.

Involve students in the planning and implementation of school and classroom initiatives.

Not accepting excuse because it can just pass on or avoid responsibilities.

Give the selfresponsibility strategy time to work.

Let students participate in decision making by holding class meeting.

Dinamika

Kuasa yang menyebabkan pergerakan (Kamus Dwibahasa Oxford) Kumpulan kelompok individu dalam sesuatu unit sosial yang mempunyai ciri dan nilai yang sama Dinamika kumpulan Kuasa yang terdapat dalam kumpulan yang telah mendorong ahli-ahli kumpulannya untuk melakukan sesuatu perubahan.

Dinamika

bilik darjah ialah apabila sesuatu kumpulan rakan sebaya berupaya mengerakkan ahli-ahlinya bertindak mengikut matlamat yang sama.

Dalam

konteks bilik darjah, dinamika kumpulan biasanya terbentuk melibatkan kumpulan-kumpulan kecil yang mempunyai ciri, nilai, tingkah laku atau minat yang sama. Dinamika kumpulan boleh dikenal pasti melalui kajian sosiometri.

Kajian

sosiometri membantu guru melihat pola persahabatan kumpulan dalam bilik darjah.

Penularan

adalah ciri-ciri atau tingkah laku ahli kumpulan dinamka yang diikuti dan mempunyai pengarh kepada ahli kumpulan yang lain.
