MUTUAL INDUCTION : Iftwoelectriccircuitsaresuchthatthemagneticfieldduetoacurrentinoneispartlyorwhollylinked withtheother,thetwocoilsaresaidtobeelectromagneticallycoupledcircuits.Thananychangeof current in one produces a change of magnetic flux in the other & the latter opposes the change by inducinganemfwithinitself.ThisphenomenoniscalledMUTUALINDUCTION &theinducedemfinthe lattercircuitduetoachangeofcurrentintheformeriscalledMUTUALLY INDUCED EMF.The circuit inwhichthecurrentischanged,iscalledtheprimary&theothercircuitinwhichtheemfisinducedis called the secondary.
