Summary:
The dull lake has a terrible stink. Haroun thinks its the moody land. Snootty Buttoo is so full of hot air that he creates a boiling water. Buttoo praises Rashid in order to gain his trust. They were given a magnificent place to live. Haroun and Rashid exchange places. Haroun meets Iff. Haroun blackmails Iff. Iff tells Haroun about P2C2E.

Iff promises to help Haroun.
