CONTROVERSIES IN HER LIFE

I've always been the controversy queen --EKTA KAPOOR

Balaji sent a cordial invitation to Kolkata-

based self-proclaimed Wiccan priestess, author and social activist Ipsita Roy Chakraverti, asking her to be a part of the movies promotional campaign. In response, she not only refused, but also signed a petition to the President stating that the film will incite violence against women and lead to further witch hunts which are already rife in our rural areas. Also, she reasoned that the portrayal of witches in the film supports the age-old prejudice of burning women after branding them as witches. It is one of the rare cases where the President has taken cognizance of a compliant against a Bollywood film.

Jhoda Akbar in Controversies.

The makers of the show had been accused for distorting historical info and displaying the Rajputs in unhealthy light in the serial. Claims: Akbar has been demeaning the Rajputs every second on this show. Apart from that, they have someone called Jodha, a lady who never existed at all. The show is damaging the image of Rajputs. The makers of Jodhaa Akbar have clearly mentioned in the disclaimer that the serial isnt based on historical facts.

EKTA KAPOOR CHALLENGES THE REAL RAGINI

Deepika, the real Ragini, claimed that only the paranormal activity is the part of her life and not the love making scenes. She demanded that the film should be first shown to her before it hit screens. On which Ekta replied, she can watch it once the film was released. I have always maintained that only 30% of Ragini MMS was based on her life. Also she said in one of her interviews that she was ready to respond to any legal action that the real Ragini would take.
