Approach (1)
Step 1 Define objectives and job specifications
• Understand client’s business and culture
• Develop and agree upon detailed job description and requirement profile

Step 2 Targets
• Develop search strategy
• Present list of target companies

Step 3 Identify and assess candidates


• Conduct extensive research into market using numerous data resources,
referral sources, network of contacts
• Identify, contact, attract, screen and evaluate candidates
• Review potential candidates lists with client

Approach (2)
Step 4 Interviews
• Candidate interviews by the assigned consultant/s on knowledge, experience,
personal aptitude, and cultural fit
• Provide candidate with more detailed information on client
• Prepare and submit confidential reports on most qualified candidates (Short List)

Step 5 Presentation
• Introduce candidates to client and arrange presentations
• Conduct reference checks

Step 6 Transition period


• Assist and support candidate on transition topics
• Liaise between client and candidate, e.g. ensure the offer is acceptable and
that the candidate starts within the agreed time frame

Step 7 After starting the new job


• Regular contacts with client and candidate to see that both sides are settling in
• Replacement guarantee (if necessary)

Time Frame
The assignment will follow this approximate time flow:

• Kick-off is the agreement upon detailed job description and requirement profile
• List of target companies within 2 weeks after kick-off
• First benchmarking candidate within 3 to 4 weeks after kick-off
• Candidate short list with 2 to 4 candidates within 6 to 8 weeks after kick-off
• Presentation of candidates from the short list within 8 to 9 weeks after kick-off
• Closing of the search within 12 weeks after kick-off
• Commencement of work depends on candidate‘s period of notice
• Replacement guarantee for up to six months without additional fee,
only travel expenses for consultants and candidates will be charged

 The assignment will be completed within 3 months under normal circumstances

Fee Structure
• For regular searches 33,33% of the agreed remuneration package of the
first year

• Invoicing in 3 installments:
• 1/3 after having received the order
• 1/3 after presentation of the shortlist
• 1/3 after the chosen candidate has signed an employment contract

• Actual travel expenses and costs incurred for consultants and candidates,
alternatively a fixed fee for expenses

• 6 months replacement guarantee without additional fee, only travel


expenses for consultants and candidates will be charged

• „Off Limits“ guarantee
