Fight For life (Survival game)

Presenters: Lee Ming Pei Beh Jovyn Lee Hon Meng Teng Choon Kien

Main Strategy :
1. Stay Calm
2.

Wait for rescue

January in Northern Canada is the coldest period.

1st problem is how to keep warm and prevent lost of body

heat.
Problem can be solved by building a fire, minimizing

movement, use insulation and building a shelter.

After crash landed, we will be shocked. This will affected our decisions.

Before a plane departs, pilots have to file a flight

plan.
If a plane failed to reach the destination, search-and-

rescue operations will start immediately.

70km to the nearest town is a long walk even under

ideal conditions.
We might die because of freezing & exhaustion.

Ranking:
1. Cigarette Lighter
Source of warmth Signalling devices

2. Small ball of wire wool

Means to catch the sparks. Best substance for catching spark &

supporting a flame, even if the wire wool is a little wet.

3. Extra pants and shirts for each survivor

Clothes can be used for :
Shelter Signalling Bedding Bandages String Fuel for fire

4. Can of butter
Uses as a mirror-like signalling device
Reflect sunlight Generate the S.O.S signal

Rubbed on exposed skin for protection against cold Shortening as fuel Uses of empty can
Melting snow for drinking water
Retain body heat Avoid dehydration

Use as a cup

5. 10 x 10m piece of heavy-duty canvas

Fire starter and fuel for torch. Water storage Disadvantage
Drinking alcohol under freeze environment will harm our oesphagus. Dilates blood vessels in the skin, resulting in heat loss. Cause hypothermia.

11) Compass
Dangerous item cause it may encourage people walk to the town. Glass top can be used as sunlight reflector.
As fire starter.

12) Sectional Air Map Made of Plastic

Least desirable items. Will encourage peoples to walk to the town. Only advantage

Who influencing our decision and how?

Everyone is influencing each other when making decision. Lee Hon Mengs words influenced our decision making the most:
As a scout during his past experience in secondary school life. Owns some knowledge about how to survive in a cruel situation. Learn more surviving skills after joined National Service.

Take Lee Hon Mengs advice more serious and make it as a reference to us.

Conflict
Conflicts arise because our personal answer is different. Although Lee Hon Mengs words can be our reference, but he still not the real expert on surviving skills. His surviving skills are more suitable to use in a rainforest.

Solution
Our group leader Lee Ming Pei had suggested a way to solve this problem. Solving every conflict democratic way. Making final decision by voting. This way is works to solving conflict. Every group members is happy with the way to solving conflict.
