E-portfolio

What is an e-portfolio?
An ePortfolio (electronic portfolio) is an electronic
collection of evidence that shows your learning journey
over time.
Portfolios can relate to specific academic fields or your
lifelong learning. Evidence may include writing samples,
photos, videos, research projects.

Introduction
This e-portfolio has been created in order
to show a brief information of Cristina
Amaya as an English teacher, there is
background information, also there are
some of the resources, that she makes
with her students to evaluate or interact
with them. Moreover some of the diplomas
she has.
Resume
she was born on November 1991, she attended
to Centro Escolar Anita guerrero, then she
attended to high school at Instituto Nacional de
Usulutan, when she finished her high school,
she started to study her English Bachelors
Degree at Universidad Gerardo Barrios. On 2014
she has started her teaching practice at C. E.
Anita guerrero in 11
th
grade, On 2013, she
started her social hours at UGB helping
students of 6 and 8 semester. On 2012, she
started working as an English teacher at
Academia Internacional until now.

Youtube

Youtube is a great tool if you like teaching new vocabulary
or grammar structure with videos. I use youtube in order to
introduce a topic or in some cases to recall previous
knowledge. There are a thousand of videos, pages to
subscribe in order to receive new videos which have been
upload.

Google Apps
Google apps have lots of
new things. Within google
apps, you can find google
apps for education this
section give you a lot of
pages, where you find
tails, pictures, and other
stuff which are very useful
for my classes.

Rubistar
Rubistar is a good tool when it
is time to assess students
knowledge, there are a lot of
different ways how assess
students, this is one no
traditional way to do it if the
tests are always written.

This webpage gives you a
rubric and you only choose
the aspects you want to
evaluate, but also give you the
base of how to do your own
rubric.
Facebook
Facebook is a social network
that has help me in order to
communicate students
something important during
the time we do not see each
other.
I share pictures and videos
I remind them to do
something if they forgotten.
And they can participate in
forums or make comments
about one topic
