Speech recognition is the process by which a
computer (or other type of machine) identifies
spoken words. Basically, it means talking to a
computer & having it correctly understand what
you are saying.
Speech recognition is an alternative to
traditional methods of interacting with a
computer,such as textual input through a
keyboard. An effective system can replace, or
reduce the reliability on, standard keyboard and
mouse input.
Signal processing : sound is received through
microphone in the fom of analog signals.
Speech recognition: it involves recognition of
words by using certain algos like Dynamic
Time Warping algo.
Response Generation: this involves the
generation of output i.e in the text format.

Isolated word RS.
Connected word RS.
Spontaneous speech RS.
Voice verification and identification.

Dynamic Time Warping:
Helps to recognize the word by comparing it
with the stored word templates.
Two level security lock.
To embed this technology in the latest versions
of cars.
To implement its security aspect remotely, may
be telephonically.
Banks and MNCs can use this type of
applications as security as the authenticity of
speaker will be governed marvelously.
Telebanking can use actual speakers voice
instead of his phone number as the the security
measure.
Wide range of libriary so that people of different
dialect may not find it difficult to use.

at the speed at which we can compose them
in head.

Provides high level security.
Accuracy and precision.

Speech recognition will revolutionize the way
people interacted with theSmart devices and
will ultimately differentiate the upcomming
technologies.
Within 5 years speech recognition technology
will become so pervasive in our lives that
service environments lacking this technology
will be considered inferior.
