BIOGRAPHY

He was born Mikhail Kuzmich Yangel November 7, 1911 in the village Zyryanova Irkutsk
province in a large peasant family (family Yangel had 12 children).
In 1931 Yangel MK entered the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), from which he graduated with
honors in "Aircraft" in 1937.
Yangel MK participated in the development of I-16 fighters, I-17 twin-engine fighter to escort
bombers and other aircraft.
From 1944 he worked in the name of CB of Armenia Mikoyan and VM Myasishchev. In 1950 he
graduated from the Academy of the aviation industry. Since 1954, the chief designer of the KB.
From 1954 to 1971. Yangel Mikhail Kuzmich was the chief designer of OKB-586 Dnipropetrovsk
(CB "Southern").
Died Yangel Mikhail Kuzmich, October 25, 1971 in Moscow, from the fifth heart attack. He was

MUSEUM NAMED AFTER M.K.YANGELYA

Description:
Russia's only memorial museum was opened
by Academician M.K.Yangelya May 27, 1980. The museum
funds were documents, photographs and personal belongings of the
academician, his wife passed I.V.Strazhevoy.
At the same time going to the exhibits on local history, the history of the city
and the region - is it possible to discover local historyand historical exposition
of the museum. The appearance of a Zheleznogorsk Japanese sister city has
made possible the opening of the Japanese audience. Later opened an
art gallery of, and to this day within its walls are temporary exhibitions of fine
art, arts and crafts. In connection with the emergence of new exhibits,

Memorial house museum M.K.Yangelya become an integral part of the

taiga village Bereznyaki. From the flooded area, this house was moved
in 1974 to address the executive committee of the village council of the
