NEWS?
WHATS THE FUTURE?
Half of Americans own either a smartphone, or a tablet. 62% of the people who owned smartphones
stated that they had used their phone to get the news, and 64% of tablet users got the news through
their tablet. While on a smartphone or tablet, they can read in-depth articles, and watch videos.
Although it is easy to get the news from online, it isn't always the best source. 65% of people who get
news online said the news organizations are politically biased, and 73% say the news focused too
much on unimportant stories. So, be cautious when searching for news online.

One result is that people will have to get their news in the other ways such as watching it on another
show that interests them.
What is supposed to be the result, is that someone new will replace John Stewart when he retires,
and the show will go on. Some of the names floating around as who should be his replacement are
John Oliver, Jessica Williams, or Samantha Bee. Which were people who had appeared on the show
before.
