2 . There are 2 forms of Irish

Dancing

There are two forms of the Irish dancing. Theyre called

solo dances and figure dances.
Solo dances are hard, on the other hand figure dances
are quite easy. Oh and the girls, they wear wigs, dresses,
and are CAKED with make-up (no offense..)

3. The First Irish Dance is a Solo

dance.
Solo dances take years and sometimes have
competitions for them. It takes skills and years.
This solo dance is usually (always) done solo:

This is one of the many

female irish dresses
that are used for solo
dances or figure
dancing.

4. The second Irish Dance is Figure

Dance.
Figure dances are really easy to do
and need only an elementary
knowledge of the basic steps.

This picture is an example

for figure dancing. This is a
group of girls (women) who
figure dance.

5. There are three grades in Irish Dancing

There are three grades in Irish Dancing. Grade A;
beginners, Grade B; Medium, and Grade C; Hard.
This is an example of a question on the quiz.

In Grade A, B, and C, you have to take a test for each,

all getting harder as you go on. The grades vary on
how you dance. An irish dancer moves up in age
groups to over 21 where there is no age limit.

6. There are 5 main Irish step dances; reel, light jig,

heavy jig, single jig, & hornpipe.
The 5 main Irish step
dances are the reel;
the most popular one,
the light jig; the
fastest of the jigs, the
heavy jig; , the single
jig; the least common
but more common in
Europe, and the
hornpipe.

The reel is the most

popular dance out of
all 5. It is fast with
two beats in a bar
usually 2/4 or split
common time (a fast
4/4 with main strong
beats). It mainly
uses quaver
movement. Two or
three tunes are put
together with each
tune repeated two or
three times before
going on to the next.

Fact No. 1: Mullingar is
a country town of
County Westmeath in
Ireland.
Fact No. 2: The
counties of Meath and
Westmeath act of 1543
proclaimed Westmeath
a county, separating it
from Meath.

8. Ireland is the land of Leprechauns

Ireland has many myths, and I chose the most
common ones; the leprechauns.
Leprechauns can be shoemakers.. and they can bring
either good luck or bad luck.
A Leprechaun is a smart and devious being who can do
anything to escape capture if it means turning you into
a frog.
Its said that every Leprechaun has a pot of gold,
hidden deep in the Irish countryside.
To protect the leprechauns pot of gold the Irish fairies
gave them magical powers to use if ever captured by a
human or an animal. Im not sure about the Irish fairies
but its pretty obvious theyre magic!

9. Irish people can be ignorant.

10. Irish people can be

funny

found this myself somehow but..
On the side is an Irish Joke~
