Sum of Exterior Angle of a Polygon

Equals 360 Degree

Sum of Exterior angles of a polygon

First we prove that sum of Exterior angles of a triangle is 360

degree.

A triangle with all its exterior angles

Now for each side of triangle we draw parallel lines

so that the triangle was compressed .

Now like previous step for this triangle, for each side
draw parallel lines so that the triangle was
compressed .

The triangle is again compressed.

The triangle was shrinked.

Now the triangle become very small.

The triangle become a point.

We know that angle around a point is 360 degree.

So sum of exterior angles of a triangle is 360 degree.

Now we prove that sum of exterior angle of a

pentagon is 360 degree.

Now we can conclude that that sum of exterior angle

of a polygon is 360 degree.
Also here is a video which shows that sum of exterior
angle of a polygon is 360 degree.
