Demand Integrity and Replenishment

Coordination Tracker

Purpose
DIRCT
Utilized by the Regional Demand Planning Organizations and Nonaffiliate Demand Planning Organizations to maintain the status of
Demand Integrity related elements (i.e. Demand Complete/Accurate,
Needed Switches Implemented, Replenishment Plan Validated, and
Constraints Implemented if applicable.
the Replenishment Coordinators to indicate whether or not they
approve the replenishment plan for the same record at the
product/location level
used specifically to Assess and Validate Demand with DIRCT and to
communicate demand integrity and the Purchase Requisitions to be
converted at the end of the planning cycle.
Supply Planners have access to view the DIRCT as well. They can view
and identify cases where a Demand Planners has listed comments
and/or actions for the Supply Planner to consider.
Customer Service Coordinators have access to view the DIRCT to
understand which Purchase Requisitions to convert to Purchase Orders
at the end of the planning cycle.

Scope

- The DIRCT report is applicable for all PT Biologics and Small Molecule
products (Finished Goods/Drug Product/Drug Substance) at locations
(factories and distribution centers) where there is independent demand for
a demand stream (affiliates, Clinical, Partner and Direct Markets or Drug
Substance/Drug Product independent demand).
- DIRCT is not to be used for issue resolution or escalation. The TIGER SPOM
processes for Managing Supply Plan Changes Inside Planning Time Fence
and Reconcile Demand and Supply are to be used for resolving gaps
between supply and demand.

Involved Roles
Demand Planner
-

Checkbox "Demand Complete / Accurate" - Check box if Demand is complete for 36 months and accurate .

Checkbox "Needed Switches Implemented" - Check box if Switches are implemented (also check box if reviewed
and no applicable switches in the planning horizon; the check box denotes that if there are switches and are
correct

Checkbox "Constraints Implemented" - Check box if Demand Constraints implemented from previous cycle

Checkbox "Replenishment Plan Validated" - Check box if Replenishment plan is aligned with independent demand
as expected

Checkbox "Demand Integrity Updated" - Check box to indicate all prior Assess Demand and Validate Demand
checks have been completed. It is only an indication that the Demand Planner performed all the required checks
in their process. It is not a measure of actual demand integrity. If the first 4 activities above were all evaluated per
the process, then this checkbox is checked regardless if all, some or none of the first 4 checkboxes are checked .

Note:

Demand Planners use these checks to indicate demand has been Assessed and Validated and to inform Supply
Planners of Actions ("Action for Supply Planner") to take in the case demand is not able to be reflected correctly in
the system (e.g. Switch material not setup). They should also add comments ("Demand Planner Comments") in
the case where any of the check boxes are not checked and indicates a lack of demand integrity.

The Demand Planners and Replenishment Coordinators use DIRCT to exchange information on planned
replenishment orders (Purchase Requisitions) and for the Replenishment Coordinators to indicate whether or not
they approve the replenishment plan for the whole planning horizon, as well as the Purchase Requisitions listed.

Involved Roles
Replenishment Coordinator
-

The Replenishment Coordinators use DIRCT to indicate whether or not they approve the replenishment plan. The
Replenishment Coordinator will pick "YES" or "NO" in the RC Approved box after reviewing the replenishment
plan by end of day 5. They may add comments if necessary in the RC Comments field.

Field "RC Approved" - Pick "YES" or "NO" after reviewing the replenishment plan by end of day 5 and it is or is not
agreed to.

Field "RC Comments" - Add comments as necessary, but comments are required if the "RC Approved" field is
"NO". In the case of "NO",
Note:

The Replenishment Coordinator indicates "YES" or "NO" to confirm that Purchase Requisitions are correct for the
planning horizon and the Purchase Requisitions at the Conversion Window can be converted on Day 19.

A Replenishment Coordinator is responsible for their assigned products.

Involved Roles
Supply Planner and Product Supply Chain Owner
- Supply Planner reviews Demand Integrity and any actions to take as noted
by the Demand Planner.
- The PSCO reviews the Demand Integrity KPI to understand Demand
Integrity overall.
- The Supply Planner and the Product Supply Chain Owner are first contact
for a Demand Planner in case of severe and unexpected demand changes
which need awareness within the supply chain.

Involved Roles
Customer Service Coordinator
- Customer Service Coordinators will use DIRCT with read only access to
understand that the RC has confirmed PRs to be converted by Day 19.
- The CSC will not react to comments entered in the DIRCT referring to
changes that impact objects in the Planning Time Fence (PTF); comments
should not be added pertaining to items within the PTF.
- DIRCT is not to be used for issue resolution or escalation neither inside nor
outside the PTF. The TIGER SPOM processes for
Managing Supply Plan Changes Inside Planning Time Fence and
Reconcile Demand and Supply are to be used for resolving gaps between
supply and demand.

Timelines

Frequency of Assessment

The process of demand assessment and validation is performed each month for every product
family at SKU level in every demand stream. This occurs per the
SPOM Monthly Planning Calendar

For Commercial - Extract of Purchase Requisitions occurs at the beginning of planning calendar
days +1 to +5

For Clinical - Extract of Purchase Requisitions occurs at the beginning of planning calendar days
-4 to +5

DIRCT is locked at Day +5 for changes . All Demand Planning and Replenishment Coordination
have to be complete by then and a snapshot of PRs to be converted is taken.

CSC can update CSC check box throughout the month

Published PRs to be converted is refreshed from D+5 to Day 19 and provides a comparison to
the Day 5 snapshot to highlight any changes.

Previous planning months history is maintained in DIRCT.

Demand Integrity KPI

-

Users can run the Demand Integrity Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Report to view Demand
Integrity by:
Global Summary by Product Family
Global Summary by International Name
Regional Summary by International Name.

The Demand Integrity KPI is assessed based on 4 dimensions captured by the Demand Planner in
DIRCT.
Checkbox "Demand Complete/Accurate" - Check box if Demand is complete for 36 months
and accurate
Checkbox "Needed Switches Implemented" - Check box if Switches are implemented if
applicable
Checkbox "Constraints Implemented" - Check box if Demand Constraints implemented from
previous cycle if applicable
Checkbox "Replenishment Plan Validated" - Check box if Replenishment plan is aligned with
independent demand is as expected

Note:
Per Product and location combination, the 4 checkboxes will be selected. If all are selected
then the resulting demand integrity score is 100%, however if one or more of the
checkboxes is not checked, then the score is 0%.
Aggregation of Demand Integrity scores use standard proportional logic, i.e. if reporting by
product family and there are 4 products assigned to the PF, if 3 of the 4 products have
