Any citizen over 18 can vote.
Every citizen of the country would have right to know, inquire and ensure
the particulars of the candidate who is to represent them in the
Parliament.
Right to vote and the exercise of this franchise by eligible citizens is the
pulse of every democracy. And India, the largest democracy of the world,
holds this right as the most precious attribute of the Indian Parliamentary
democracy.
Voting right denied to certain class of people:
-criminal convicts of certain class.
-person convicted of electoral offence.
-person of unsound mind.

HOW TO VOTE

How do I vote at a polling station?


The staff at the polling station will provide you a the
voting machine listing the candidates you can vote
for.
If you are disabled, you can ask for help and the
Presiding Officer can help you to determine the sign
of your candidate.
If you need any advice, just ask the staff at the
polling station they will be happy to help you.

WHY TO VOTE

Voting is the most important way to make your


voice heard on the issues that concern you.
Voting gives you an opportunity to be part of
decision-making that affects your life.

2015, India
was ranked 85th out of 175
countries
in
Transparency
International's
Corruption Perceptions Index,
compared to its neighbors
Bhutan (30th), Bangladesh
(145th), Myanmar (156th),
China (100th), Nepal (126th),
Pakistan (126th) and Sri Lanka
(75th). This is the second
least corruption rank for India
in the whole of South Asia.[5]
In 2013, India was ranked
94th out of 175 countries.

to ask from the govt. Is
it sufficient to spend a
day even for athree
people family with just
47 rupees.

Pollution

the major pollution

in
the
country as it is
harmfull
for
the
socity
causing
disabilities
to
infants and serious
deseases in people.

Illitracy : in India the


literacy is still hovering
round 74% on an average
reaching above 90% in
Kerala and below 75% in
Bihar,
Illiteracy
is
maximum
amongst
Scheduled
Caste,
Scheduled Tribe and other
backward classes who are
not only poor but unaware,
unconcerned and unwilling
to improve and change
their lot.

THESE ARE THE MAIN PROBLEMS IN THE SOCIETY AND PEOPLE JUST THINK THAT
GOVERNMENT IS NOT DOING ANYTHING FOR THE PROBLEMS IN THE SOCIETY FACED BY
THE PEOPLE . BUT IF YOU THINK THAT THE GOVT. IS NOT SERVING WELL TO THE SOCIETY
THEN DO NOT FORGET THE POWER OF YOUR VOTE .A SINGLE VOTE BY A SINGLE PERSON
MAY CHANGE THE IMAGE OF THE ENTIRE COUNTRY .EVERY ONE HAVE RIGHT TO SELECT
THEIR OWN CANDIDATE WHO IS ABOVE 18 IN DEMOCRACY .NEVER FORGET THAT INDIA IS
A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY AND EACH AND EVERY PERSON HAVE RIGHT TO VOTE.
