Bidding on mobile phone numbers

Description
Each player will try to make the final outcome 
/number to match with his own mobile number
by bidding on the separate digits which form that
.number

A predetermined time limit is set for beginning 

.and ending the bidding on each digit

The prize consists of the total amount of money 

. collected through out the bidding on all digits
Procedure

.Bidding starts on the first digit 

Each player will try to outbid other players 
so that the winning first digit matches his
.mobile number’s first digit

Example
Suppose Zeid’s mobile number isٍ

And Nidal’s number is

Then Zeid will bid on the number 5 and Nidal on the number 6

Naturally all players whose phone numbers start with a 5 will be

bidding on 5 (with) Zeid and all players whose phone numbers start
.with 6 will be bidding on the number 6 (with) Nidal
Bidding

.Bidding is done through SMS

The player has a choice of three different
types of SMS each carrying a different
.value of money i.e 1 JD, 5 JD, 10 JD
The winning digit

The winning digit is determined when the

pre determined bidding period is over and
the digit that collected most money is the
winning digit. For example let’s check out

bidding for the first digit. Also, the prize is

The second digit

Now the game continues exactly the same

way with the first digit till the seventh and
last digit. ( Note that Nidal is out of the
game because his number starts with a 6)

 The winner

The player who owns the number that

matches the final bidded-on number is the
winner . Example let’s say that the final
number was as shown below then the
winner is Zeid since he holds the same
mobile number. The prize is what has
been collected throughout the bidding

Benefits

The mobile operator i.e Vodafone doesn’t have 

to allocate prize money since the prize is what is
.collected throughout the bidding
This should encourage the “churn” to the benefit 

Indirect benefits to the operator’s dealers where 
they can sell a “winning” number for a higher
price in the black market
.Enhancing the company’s image 

When people get used to the system of 

the game , it can be played with two or

engage more players and would make the
