Purpose
To

design and develop a computerized Payroll System that provides fast

transactions, minimize the manual checking of employees daily time
record (assuming employees are paid at hourly rates), monitors previous
employee loans, cash advances and can generate essential reports.

Objectives

To minimize the manual checking of how many hours an employee

worked on a daily basis.

To develop a module that will generate essential reports that is the

employee credit balance for cash advances and loans.

To develop a module that will monitor the status of employees loan

and other deductions such as cash advances and charges.

Challenges

Different time schedule for group members.

Difficulty in deciding the programming language to implement the

system.

The given time was limited to implement the system.

Requirements(Functional)

Adds and removes employees from the database.

Update the employee details.

Add the department.

Add the details of the employee.

Search the employee details.

Keep track of hours worked.

Calculate the salary

Requirements(Non-Functional)

Usability: relatively easy to use and operate.

Scalability: the system is able to expand without failure.

Security: offers more security as access codes are introduced.

Conclusion

We managed to meet most of the objectives and/or requirements that

were set for the system.
