Reflections
Local agencies are excited to have volunteers.
Provoked much thinking on the North Carolina school calendar
especially in rural communities. Why rural school dont have yearround or school sponsored camps?
Together we can do more. Multiple partnerships to accomplish a goal.
I learned that rural communities and children are seeking support.
Children desire to have summer activities. It made me wonder if the
education system has created the summer slide.
Prompted me to think of how I could start partnerships in public
schools.
