the gap between those who have ready access to ICTs
and the Internet, and those who do not.
SIMPLY MEANS:

WHAT CAUSES DIGITAL DIVIDE?

In some cases digital divide is caused by poverty, far from
rural areas and lack of educational support from the
government

OVERCOMING DIGITAL DIVIDE

Once an individual is connected to Internet connectivity
and ICTs it can enhance his or her future social and
cultural capital. Once an individual has access to
connectivity, and can understand and use the information
that ICTs and connectivity provide, that individual is
capable of becoming a "digital citizen".

Despite using science and technology to better our lives,
we are the real slaves to technology. We indulge in the

a digital quick-fix; our work, play and plans for stress
release seem to depend on a broadband connection.
