A Case Report

Man, 47 years old

Blister, itchy, generalized, about 1
week
At the same time, vesicel on the palm
and finger
History taking allergic to seafood
He works in the garage

VitalSign
BP: 120/80 mmHg
RR: 20 x/m
HR: 80 x/m
T: 360C

Physical Examination

Generalize Region: Erythematous papul, pustul,

crust

Physical Examination

Palmar Region: Vesicle, bullae

Working Diagnosis

Anamnesis
Physical Examination
Varicella
Pompholyx

Treatment

Acyclovir 5 x 800mg
Methylprednisolone 2 x 8mg
Cetirizine 1 x 10mg

Discussion

Symptoms in the prodromal stage of

varicella: fever, malaise, headache
Eruption stage: erythematous papules that
within a few hours turn into vesicles The
shape of this vesicel : tear drops Changed
to be pustules within 24 hours Broke into
crusts

Acyclovir should be given as early as

possible & antihistamines can be
given to relieve itching

Discussion

Pompholyx can be associated with

atopic dermatitis and contact
dermatitis
In Nickel Sensitivity patients, Patchtest reactions show a great variability
Management needs to be adapted to
etiopathogenesis. Patients with
contact allergies should avoid
identified allergens

Conclusion

In this case, pompholyx accidentally

happened with varicella which caused
by different etiology, and usually have a
good prognosis.
