Frank Abagnale (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a

teenager in a family that is slowly falling
apart. His father is deep in debt, his mother
is having an affair, and Frank is trying to find
an identity. In the footsteps of his father
(who cons his way into and out of
situations), Frank learns that with a little
ingenuity and a lot of chutzpah he is able to
impersonate a teacher, a pilot, a doctor, and
a lawyer. These false fronts allow him to
become rich, admired, and respected-and
lonely.

VALUE OF
THE MOVIE

The first time Frank boarded a

plane he was impersonating a
pilot, he had never even been
to an air port! So how the hell
did he successfully dupe a
plane full of flight
professionals? He acted like he
was supposed to be there
