OBJECTIVE

GPS is one of the technologies that are

used in large number of applications in
tracking system.
The main objective of our project is to
use this GPS system to track the missing
cattels in a large farm.
This gives the exact location of the
missing cattle to the owners by means
of android application.

WHY?
The BC Cattlemens Associations
annual cattle survey out of 2000
heads of cattles,437 cattles went
missing due to unknown reasons.
Hence this kind of loss can be
avoided by using the GSM-GPS
BASED CATTLE TRACKING SYSTEM.

ABSTRACT
In this project a GPS modem helps to get
the coordinates of the location( Longitude
and Latitude).
We use GSM modem which sends these
parameters to particular mobile number
though SMS. This SMS will help to track
the exact location of the cattle.
Once the SMS is received the android
application linked to google map helps to
give the exact location of the cattle.
