WHY THEY LEFT TEACHING?

Many
teachers
who
choose the teaching
profession after high
school graduation did
not remain long in it.

The compelling reasons are:


The

salary for teaching is very


low. It cannot compare equally
with other jobs requiring four
years of study.
The daily tasks are too-consuming
especially the preparations for
the learning activities and other
school routine.

Teachers

have to deal with multipersonalities,


students,
administrators,
co-teachers,
parents and other members of
the school and community.
Oftentimes overworked, teachers
forget to smile and be pleasant,
hence labeled cranky and illhumored.

Insight.
Everyone who serve to be called a
Professional teacher has made one of the
most important dreams of a lifetime come
true that of becoming a teacher.
Every teacher could cite compelling reasons
for pursuing this self-fulfilling career. To
continue nourishing such passion for
teaching she evokes a strong pledge and
determination to keep on despite
perceived difficulties on the way.

who stay, driven by unending


commitment and loyalty to the
profession and to the nation, deserve
to receive the highest accolade and
