OBJECTIVE:
BLOOD GROUPING

Step 2:

Place the three different

blood drops of the same
individual on a given slide or
suitable medium separately.

Step 2:

Add the anti serum A to the first drop

Add the anti serum-B to the second
drop
Add the antiserum-D to the third drop

Step 3:

OBSERVATION:
If the clumping takes place in the first blood
drop,Then the blood group will will be A or AB.
If the clumping takes place in the first two blood
drops,Then we can confirm the blood group is
AB.
If the clumping takes place in the third blood
drop indicates the blood type is POSITIVE.

Procedure:
Step 1:Take the blood samples
Step 2:Add the anti sera to the blood
samples
Step 3:Observation
Step 4:Declaration

Step 4:
Based on the observations made
regarding the agglutination (clumping)
reactions,We can denote the blood type
very easily within four stepsNow
tell me the blood grouping test is easy OR
not.

WELCOME

THANK YOU

REQUIREMENTS:
Anti serum A
Anti serum-B
Anti serum-D
Sterilized needles
Glass slides
Cotton
Tiny sticks

AGGLUTINATION:
It is the principle involved in the blood
grouping test.
A specific antibody combines with the
specific antigen (sticking together) to
form clumping.
Clumping occurs between specific
antigens present on the surface o f the
RBC and specific antibodies.
