Acid-Base Titration Procedure Guide

The document provides instructions for a chemistry experiment involving acid-base titration. It lists the necessary materials including various glassware and chemicals. The steps involve measuring acid using a burette, adding a measured amount of base to a flask, and titrating the acid slowly into the base-indicator solution while swirling until the color changes, then measuring the amount of acid used.

Step 1- Gathering materials

You will need

a flask
Two beakers
A clamp stand
A burette
A volumetric pipette
A base
A acid
A indicator

Step 2
Pour your acid into
your burette, and
measure the ccs
Then, pour 10mm
of base into your
flask using the
volumetric pipette
Add three drops of
the indicator to
your base to get a
dark pruple

Step 3
Pour the acid into the
base
Continue swirling the
flask
When the flask turns
white, shut off the flow of
acid
Measure how much acid
was used
