Thriller Opening Sequence Timeline

We decided that our titles are going to be constructed and positioned

into the setting by us, rather than having them superimposed in the
editing process. We came to this decision as we believe that it will
make our thriller opening all the more unique and thrilling, making it
stand out. This is because, as well as making the audience want to
know what will happen next in the narrative, they will begin to wonder
where the next title will be denoted.

The name of the actors will be presented at the beginning of the sequence in order to
represent their importance. Titles will appear quite regularly for about a minute, then
they will start to become less regular as the tension builds. This has been done so the
attention of the audience is not centrally on the titles, but on the narrative. The name of
our thriller will be displayed at the very end, so the whole opening sequence can lead up
to that moment, portraying its significance. It will also be denoted at the very end to
signify a sense of professionalism, as this is what the majority of thriller films seem to do.
