found an inn and entered it. The servant gave the
raven to the innkegper to make reedy for supper

servent and they had treveled about for a long
timg until they camg to a town. In this town was
® beautiful but proud prinegss, who had said that
whoever could set her a riddle that she could not
enawer, she would merry him. She hed three days
to gugas it in, but wea so clever thet she always
found the answer to the riddig before that

Then he went to her and laid his riddle before

was, she thought and thought, but she could not

could get the answer, but again the servant took
her cloak and again chased her out

had the enswer, end announegd to the room what

seid to them "She came into my room in the night

who brought in the three cloaks, end when the
