Why Depression?
Depression is becoming more prevalent on college campuses

Study done by the American College Health Association


4.6% increase in the amount of college students with depression

Only a small amount of students seek the help they actually need

44% of respondents were somewhat familiar with recognizing the
symptoms of depression
38% of respondents experience symptoms of depression
88% stated they know someone who shows symptoms of depression
Only 12% feel extremely comfortable seeking help for their depression
