QUALITIES
OF GOOD WORSHIP
In our worship today, people give
God worship the way they want to,
rather than the way God such
worship cannot be accepted
What are the qualities of good and
acceptable worship?
Good
must:
BE DONE IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH:
this calls for preparedness on our
parts
BE DONE THROUGH JESUS: the
way, truth and life
COME FROM A SINCERE AND PURE
HEART (Isaiah 59:1-4)
QUALITIES
OF A GOOD WORSHIPPER
A good worshipper of God must:
HAVE A HEART FOR GODS PRESENCE
YEARN FOR GODS WORD (2 Tim 2:15)
As we study:
We get to know about the character of God.
We take on a Christ like character
BE SUBMISSIVE: the Christ like nature we
gain through the study of the word helps
us to be submissive
BE
A GOOD LISTENER
God is always speaking, are we
attentive enough to hear Him
speak to us during our periods of
worship.
BE A GIVER
Give yourself first to God (Rom
12:1)
Give material things.
