History Of Barru
Regency
Barru before forming is a small kingdom, each
headed by king, namely: Kingdom of Berru (Barru),
Tanete kingdom, the kingdom and the Kingdom
Soppeng Riaja Mallusetasi.
Along with the passage of time, then on February 24,
1960 is a milestone that marks the beginning of the
birth of the Regency Barru, with capital Barru.
Prior formed as an autonomous region in 1961, this
area consists of 4 Autonomous region in kewedanaan
Barru District Parepare old, respectively Swapraja
Barru, Swapraja Tanete, Swapraja Soppeng Riaja and
former Autonomous Mallusetasi. Capital District Barru
now housed in the former capital Kewedanaan Barru.

Geography

beaches, and mountains, the highest mountain
in Barru is a mountain Coppo Tile in Tanete
Riaja.
there are six islands along the coast is Batu
kalasi island, Bakki Island, dutungan island,
pasir putih island, panikiang island, and pute
angin island, while it was in the region of its
