Unitary Form of Government
This classification of government is according to the
distribution of power between central and _ local
governments.
Unitary Government
Is a form of Government in which all of the powers of the
government are held by a single unit or agency. The powers
are not distributed between the centre and the states under the
constitution, but they are concentrated in the centre only. Local
units of government have power given to them by the central
government. Countries such as France, Italy, Japan, and the
United Kingdom, along with other democratic nations use the
unitary system of government, however, the same rules.Merits of Unitary Government:

in the hands of the centre under the constitution and states are
given the powers upon the will of the centre. Therefore a
powerful government is formed at the centre.

diversities and the central government is not able to satisfy
