Passive transport
The diffusion of molecules from an area of high concentration to an area of
low concentration across a cell membrane that uses no cellular energy.

Diffusion
Diffusion is the movement of a fluid from an area of higher concentration to
an area of lower concentration. Diffusion is a result of the kinetic properties
of particles of matter. The particles will mix until they are evenly distributed.

Concentration gradient
The difference in the concentration of a substance from one location to
another. Although diffusion is somewhat alike, the difference is based off of
it being either a low or high concentration region.
