Nicholas James Vujicic was born on December 4, 1982, in Brisbane,

Australia with tretra-amelia syndrome, which is characterized by lack


of limbs. That is, Nick was born without legs or arms, only has a
formation or Meromelia of lower left side.
Nick is an example of life and a great fighter, despite his disability and
physical limitations. During their school age, they moved to Melbourne
to have a better quality of life. But the situation was not easy, since the
state of Victoria prohibited its entrance to the school by its disability.
Later the Australian laws changed his future, Nick became one of the
first students with disability in integrating in common schools.

Nick being bothered by his classmates at school because of his


disability, Nick had episodes of depression during his childhood, and
when he was about eight years old, he thought about committing
suicide. At age ten he tried to drown in the bathtub, but he did not let
himself die to remember the love his parents had for him.
He graduated with a degree in Accounting and Financial Planning at
age 21 and later became a motivational speaker, giving talks to young
people and adults on different topics. He has been in 5 continents and
has been in more than 30 countries giving motivational talks.
