Character Profile 1 Michael Baxter
Ethnicity The ethnicity of my character is Caucasian. The reason I chose this ethnicity
is because in typical horror films the main protagonist is usually Caucasian.
Age The age of my character is going to be 18 years old this is because I wanted to
show a young vulnerable character who is more likely going to be attacked by
criminals as they can overpower them.
Representation The representation of my character is going to show that he is a
young, shy character. I will not show him as being dominant and brave as this will ruin
the purpose of my film. Also this will make the antagonist appear weaker.
Personality of my character My character is going to have a fun personality who likes
spending time with friends and going out.
Influences of my character I have taken influence from the character Adam Faulkner-
Stanheight who was in the film Saw (2004). He is a weak character who was more
vulnerable to danger than the other protagonist in the film. I will be using this as an
influence to my film to create a countertype male protagonist.
The actress I have chosen to portray Michael Baxter is Jamie Salem (17). He is 58 and
he is mixed race. He will be able to portray this character well as he has taken drama
as a GCSE subject and he also suits the characteristics of the actual character. Like
Michael Baxter Jamie likes going out with friends a lot and also doesn'tt look
stereotypically masculine which is why I have chosen him for my film.
Character profile 2 The Midnight
Man (Gordon Wasilewski)
Ethnicity The ethnicity of my antagonist is going to be Caucasian. The reason I chose this
ethnicity is because although my character is Asian he has very light skin and looks
Caucasian. I will have a mask which shows a deformed face and the mask will make my
character look older.
Age The age of my character is 45 years old. I chose this age as this is the age where
typically they are mysterious and lonely. I used this age bracket as this makes sure that my
character is not going to be the victim due to how old he is.
Representation The representation of my character is that he is a tall mysterious man
which people are scared of. I will show the fear by using a tall actor and also making sure
that he does not speak throughout the entire production. This will bring out the mystery of
the character and make people wonder why he doesn'tt speak.
Personality of my character My character has a dead personality and is very strange. He
will not speak throughout the entire production meaning that he is mysterious. He will also
have a bad personality as he like to bring grief to people by kidnapping their children.
Influences of my character An influence of my character is from the creepypasta The
Slender man, also from the film The Slender man (2013).
The actress I have chosen to portray the Midnight Man is Junaid Mirza. He is 6 ft. 3 which
means he is tall and will look dominant. He is very good at acting which I have saw after
my audition and I think he suits the role really well. He is a good script writer so he
understands how to follow a script.
Other actors Michael
Baxter
In order to plan for my film I had to consider multiple actors.
Cameron Quinn is an actor which I have considered for the role of
Michael Baxter.
After viewing his performance I came to the conclusion that he is not
suitable for the role as he was not a very good actor and he wasnt
able to deliver lines as effective as Jamie was. The line I used for the
audition was; What do you want!? I needed this line to be delivered
in a scared tone and Cameron could not portray that.
Another actor which I considered was Nathaniel Roberts. He was
good at acting in the short audition but he had a problem with
delivering the lines. He was not able to deliver the line loud and clear
which made me think about other actors.
The final actor which I considered was Neil Patel. He was too tall and
it meant that he didnt look as vulnerable as the other actors. He is 6
ft 1 and he was also not a very good actor.

(gordon Wasilewski)
Abdul Ferdous is an actor which I considered for the role of The
Midnight man, he was not a good actor and wasnt intimidating
enough to play The Midnight Man. Also he was too short and the
protagonist actor was taller which meant that he could not
effectively look dominant and overpowering.
Another actor which I considered was Blu Charles. He was good
at acting and was able to look scary, however he was too short
to be considered for the role of The Midnight Man. He was
shorter then the protagonist in the audition which didn'tt look
professional and it was not effective.
And the final actor which I considered was Shahidul Islam. He is
6 ft. 4 and looks very dominant. However he wasnt able to act
well and he acted very unprofessionally during filming which is
why I had to consider someone else. He wouldve been a good
actor if he was able to act well.
