information. This can be both
verbally and nonverbally.
Ways we communicate:
Use I-statements
Be an Active Listener
I-Statements
Define- An I-statement is used to get your voice heard, without putting
the blame on someone else

I : put the focus on yourself

Feel : state what you feel (refer to the Feeling Words worksheet

When : state the event that is making you feel that way

Because : state why you feel this way and the effect the event has had on
you

Active Listening

What is it?
A way to resolve conflict amongst two or more

amongst the group.
