Basic Info

A Taiga is a swamp like coniferous forest in high


northern latitudes, especially between the tundra
and steppes of Siberia and North America.It is also
the largest biome on earth
Climate

Average yearly rainfall: 12-33 in. or 300-900 mm


Taigas average temperature is 32F but can drop to
-65F in the winter and 70F in the summer.
Plants

Some plants that live in taiga include


pine trees, white spruce, hemlock,
douglas fir, lichens, and mosses.

Bobcat
Elk
Moose
Reindeer
Ermine
Wolverine
Bears
Cougars
Grey Wolves
