Swatch Bharat Abhiyan
Swatch Bharat Abhiyan is a
national campaign
movement initiated by
Govt. of India in 2014
which consists of
cleaning and greening of
all the cities across India,
their roads, streets,
infrastructure etc.
As the campaign was going
on in the whole country
our locality also
undertook the project for
the betterment of the
filthy conditions of the
community. And this
changed the face of the
community. That is why
there was a need of this
project.
My Contribution
I undertook the task of collecting
non biodegradable waste such as
polythene bags plastic bottles, tin
cans etc. this can be reused and
recycled such as plastic bottles
can be reused to store water and
can be used in craft work and
polythene bags can be recycled
and then can be used again and
again. All this can save a lot of
money.
