NASW CODE OF ETHICS, RELEVANT LAWS AND REGULATIONS,
MODELS FOR ETHICAL DECISION-MAKING, ETHICAL CONDUCT OF
RESEARCH, AND ADDITIONAL CODES OF ETHICS AS APPROPRIATE
TO CONTEXT.

ONE LAW THAT I ALREADY SEE THE SOCIAL WORKERS USING IS THE
COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE LAW. IF A CHILD HAS 10 UNEXCUSED
ABSENCES THEN THE PARENT IS IN DANGER OF COURT.

USE REFLECTION AND SELF-REGULATION TO MANAGE PERSONAL
VALUES AND MAINTAIN PROFESSIONALISM IN PRACTICE
SITUATIONS.

I THINK AT BOTH SITES THIS IS USED VERY WELL. ESPECIALLY


WHEN WE MEET WITH PARENTS WE ALWAYS MAINTAIN
PROFESSIONALISM. WE DO NOT LET THE SITUATION AFFECT OUR
ATTITUDE.

APPEARANCE; AND ORAL, WRITTEN, AND ELECTRONIC

DEFINITELY IN OUR APPEARANCE WE ARE PROFESSIONAL. ALSO


IN HOW WE ACT AND ADDRESS PEOPLE IN THE WORKPLACE.

FACILITATE PRACTICE OUTCOMES.

I WOULD ALSO SAY TECHNOLOGY IS USED EFFECTIVELY AND


EFFICIENTLY. THE SOCIAL WORKERS USE TECHNOLOGY AS A
MEANS TO HELP THE CHILD IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE.

USE SUPERVISION AND CONSULTATION TO GUIDE PROFESSIONAL


JUDGMENT AND BEHAVIOR.

BOTH SOCIAL WORKERS DEFINITELY USE SUPERVISION AND


CONSULTATION. THEY ALWAYS ASK THE OPINION OF A
COLLEAGUE OR COWORKER.

APPLY AND COMMUNICATE UNDERSTANDING OF THE IMPORTANCE
OF DIVERSITY AND DIFFERENCE IN SHAPING LIFE EXPERIENCES IN
PRACTICE AT THE MICRO, MEZZO, AND MACRO LEVELS.

THEY BOTH SEEM TO KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF DIVERSITY. THE


SCHOOLS THAT THESE SOCIAL WORKERS WORK AT ARE VERY
DIVERSE. WHEN MEETING WITH PARENTS OF A DIFFERENT RACE
THEY ARE BOTH RESPECTABLE.

PRESENT THEMSELVES AS LEARNERS AND ENGAGE CLIENTS AND
CONSTITUENCIES AS EXPERTS OF THEIR OWN EXPERIENCES.

WHEN IT COMES TO ENGAGING PARENTS THEY WANT THE


PARENT TO UNDERSTAND WHAT'S GOING ON AND HOW THEY CAN
FIX IT. SETTING UP AN EFFECTIVE PLAN TO MAKE SURE THE CHILD
IS GETTING AN EFFECTIVE EDUCATION.

APPLY SELF-AWARENESS AND SELF-REGULATION TO MANAGE THE
INFLUENCE OF PERSONAL BIASES AND VALUES IN WORKING
WITH DIVERSE CLIENTS AND CONSTITUENCIES.

THEY SEEM TO DO A GREAT JOB OF SELF-REGULATION AND NOT


SHOWING ANY PERSONAL BIAS TO ANYONE IN THE WORKPLACE.
EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE TREATED EQUAL FROM WHAT I HAVE
SEEN SO FAR.
