Brief History of the Beluga
The Beluga Whale is one of the smallest species of
whale, and is sometimes referred to as a white
whale.

They belong to the class Cetacea, which is a

scientific order of large aquatic mammals that have
forelimbs modified into flippers, a horizontally
flattened tail, a nostril at the top of the head for
breathing, and no hind limbs. Cetaceans include all
whales, dolphins, and porpoises.

Most Beluga whales live to be between 13-20 feet.
