ABSTRACT:
To produce energy from the electromagnetic radiations present in
the environment.

Urban environments are filled with kilowatts of radio waves from

commercial and government transmitters , we can use that radio
waves to produce energy.

But we can produce only less amount of power from this source.
How to measure the electric energy?
To see this energy, connect the antenna to the
oscilloscope's input probe terminal and connect the
ground wire to the oscilloscope probe's ground clip.
The oscilloscope display will show a "white noise" pattern
indicating radio energy from many different sources.
You may have to adjust the vertical input to a more
sensitive setting, such as 200 millivolts per division or less,
to make the pattern clearer.

EXPERIMENTAL PROCEDURE:
1)the radio waves from free space are AC in nature
,those radio waves can be obtained by using receiver
antenna(loop antenna)
2) these received RF waves are fed into impedance
matching circuit for maximum power efficiency
3)then those AC waves are rectified using bridge
rectifier along with capacitive filters to convert into DC
without ripples
4)eventually this DC which is of lower power is fed into
voltage doubler circuit for extending the power
applications
CONCLUSION
Our proposed circuit for harvesting energy from the received RF signal
generates a minimum rectified output voltage and current.

This output can still be increased by reducing the capacitance values to

the range of very low values and increasing the voltage multiplier
stages.
