A material or ideological way of being white
"Currently, the academic scene has witnessed a flurry of scholarship surrounding
as a social and political identity. The multitude of these research pages attempt to
play out what it means to claim the racial category white and what implications
that the cultural category renders within our collective social world. However, much
of the work done in cultural studies tries to analyze whiteness in the abstract,
ignoring bodies and individuals who live within the world.
What implications does claiming the racial category
