Protection of speech was first introduced when the magma carta was signed in 1215 but wasnt introduced to the British Values in 1988. One of the countries that havent got freedom of speech is North Korea. Although, many countries do have it such as the; UK, Tunisia, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Cuba, Norway, Switzerland, France, Germany, Thailand, Sudan, Pakistan, Australia, Hong Kong, Canada, Brazil, Ireland and many more. Freedom Of Speech In 2006, the Racial and Religious Hatred Act amended the POA to make it an offense punishable by up to 7 years imprisonment to use threatening words or behaviour intended to stir up religious hatred. Section 127 of the communications act in 2003 makes it an offense to send a message by means of a public electronic communications network, which is grossly offensive.
