Freedom Of Speech
The power of right to express ones opinions (everyone)
without censorship, restraint or legal penalty. Protection of
speech was first introduced when the magma carta was
signed in 1215 but wasnt introduced to the British Values in
1988.
One of the countries that havent got freedom of speech is
North Korea. Although, many countries do have it such as
the; UK, Tunisia, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Cuba, Norway,
Switzerland, France, Germany, Thailand, Sudan, Pakistan,
Australia, Hong Kong, Canada, Brazil, Ireland and many
more.
Freedom Of Speech
In 2006, the Racial and Religious Hatred Act amended the
POA to make it an offense punishable by up to 7 years
imprisonment to use threatening words or behaviour
intended to stir up religious hatred.
Section 127 of the communications act in 2003 makes it an
offense to send a message by means of a public electronic
communications network, which is grossly offensive.
In places such as Colleges, they will have a Student voice,
which gives everyone a chance to say what they
want(Freedom Of Speech)
Rule of Law
Some different components of the Rule of Law
i. Peaceful
ii. Everyone has an equal chance to be a Jury
iii. They give you a lawyer
iv. Fair trail
v. Everyone follows the same law
Rule of Law
The principle that all people and institutions and subject
to accountable to law that is fairly applied and enforced,
the principle of government by laws.
Equality Act was enforced in 2010. It protected; Sexual
Orientation, Sex, Age, Race, Pregnancy and Maternity,
Gender reassignment, Disability and Marriage(Civil ship
partners)
Burden of proof- The obligation to prove one's assertion.
Mutual respect and
tolerance(MRT)
Treat other people with respect
When 2 people dont agree on everything but they dont
get upset over it
Respect is the most impatient building block
Show all people equal amounts of respect
It is mutual respect which makes friendship lasting
The mental health team give support to people with mental
health issues.

The parliament system
Reprehensive democracy
Introduced in 1969. a system of government by the whole
population or all the eligible members of the state.
